Cancelling a subscription

We’re here to help you, so if you’re facing any technical issues or are struggling to get the app to do what you need, please do get in contact.

If you’re that you want to cancel your subscription, please follow the steps below depending on whether you originally signed up on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Android – Cancel subscription on Google Play

If you signed up using the Google Play Store,

  1. Go to the Subscriptions page – https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
  2. The Teleprompter for Video subscription should be listed. If not, please check that you are signed in with the same account that you used to make the subscription.
  3. Tap the Teleprompter for Video subscription.
  4. Details about the upcoming payment will be listed, alongside buttons to Pause and Cancel.
  5. Tap Cancel.
  6. You will continue to have access to the app until the end of the billing cycle.
  7. After this period, you can continue to use the free version of the app.

iOS – Cancel subscription on App Store

If you signed up using the Apple App Store,

  1. Open the main Settings app on your device
  2. Tap your name (at the top).
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Teleprompter for Video should be listed as an ACTIVE subscription. If not, please check that you are signed in with the same account that you used to make the subscription.
  5. Tap the Teleprompter for Video subscription.
  6. Details about the subscription (amount and frequency) will be shown, with a button to Cancel.
  7. Tap Cancel Subscription.
  8. You will continue to have access to the app until the end of the billing cycle.
  9. After this period, you can continue to use the free version of the app.

Requesting a refund

If you’re looking for a refund, I must apologise that the app did not live up to your expectations. I would be grateful if you could tell me what in particular you were not happy with.

All payments for the app are processed by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android), and therefore refunds need to be made by them (rather than me).
